General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo says that Ghana does not fear any country ahead of the draw for the Qatar 2022 World Cup play-offs.

He says that the Black Stars is ready to play against any opponent in the World Cup play offs which will be done in January next year.

According the lawyer, Ghana has qualified for the World Cup finals three times and also won the African Cup of Nations four times so if anything other countries should rather fear playing against Ghana and not the other way round.

The Black Stars of Ghana topped group G which contained South Africa who are still challenging Ghana's place with a protest at FIFA, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.

Ghana was not at their best during the qualifiers as they barely sleep walked into the play -offs and must up their game as they will face power houses like Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Nigeria among others.

“We cannot be afraid of any country in the play-offs, we are Ghana,” Addo said in an interview with Akoma FM.

“We have qualified three times for the World Cup, won the Afcon four times, other countries must rather be afraid of us.  We are all hoping to be part of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

“The playoffs will be played in March 2022 and the likely countries Ghana could face might not be as strong as they are now.

“We should all have confidence in the team and surely Ghana will make it to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.”

Ghana has played at three World Cups in 2006, 2010 and 2014 but failed to make it to the Russia in 2018.
