We used best practices for 2020 elections – Jean Mensa recommends useful lessons

The Chairperson for Ghana’s Electoral Commission Jean Adukwei Mensa has indicated that there is a lot to learn from Ghana’s 2020 elections and the Electoral Commission(EC).

According to her, there is the need to celebrate the successes and document them because there is so much knowledge.

Apart from knowledge, she indicates that the Commission in doing its work strictly adhered to best practice and therefore there is a lot that can be learnt from the Commission.

“Let us celebrate our successes of the 2020 Elections and document them; for there is so much knowledge, good experiences and best practice residing in the Electoral Commission of Ghana,” she said.

Meanwhile, the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama after the 2020 elections went to court because to him, no political party won the election but the court dismissed his claim.
