Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law (GSL) Moses Foh Amoaning has lashed out at the Former boss of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Dr Charles Wereko Brobby for comments he passed on Facebook which suggested he supports gay rights.

Dr Brobby had posted on Monday April 23 that be interpreted as imposition of those rights on those individuals.

The former VRA boss wrote,  “Respect for an individual's rights must never be construed as imposition of those rights on all individuals #supportlgbtrights!”

However, his comments did not go down well with Foh-Amoaning who counter attacked Dr Brobby on the AM Show saying if the  Chief Policy Analyst at Ghana Institute for Public Policy Options (GIPPO) is a homosexual, he should seek help.

He said on the show, “So Dr. Charles Wereko Brobby, I am an albino, my name is Moses Foh-Amoaning [and] I accept the problem that I have but God being so good and my father being a minister of the gospel, trained me to be able to cater for the weakness that I have, genetically. “So if you are a homosexual let us help you out of it rather than using vestiges of colonialism to support this degenerate moral behavior”.

Mr Amoaning further questioned whether or not the tribe of Dr Brobby would accept the lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT) in the context of the culture.

He said, “And Dr. Charles Wereko Brobby, you say you belong to the Ashanti Kingdom; can you go there and say that you want to practice homosexuality or you want to support it? You will be rejected by the community that you come from. “Dr. Charles Wereko Brobby, you are more important than this…How can a man have sex in the anus and you say it is a human right [so] we should respect it? You are wrong and Ghanaians don’t believe in what you are saying,”.
