Diaspora and International relations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Akosua Dentaa Amoateng MBE says the opportunity handed her at the club is a great chance to show that women can deliver in Sports administration.

She says the success stories of the two women in the Kotoko management team can draw more women into sports and football administration which is often deemed as a preserve of men.

The founder of  GUBA says that being the two females on the management puts a lot of pressure on them to deliver and they will surely not disappoint.

She says together with the other female on the team Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng (Domestic Legal Affairs head) will do all they can to make Nana Yaw Amponsah's job a success.

"The way the world is going now; in everything you need female attraction. One of our goals is to ensure that I and Akua (Pokuaa Kwarteng) deliver because we are the only females on the team so there is a lot of pressure on us because you hardly see it," she told Nhyira FM.

"We will make sure that we deliver our responsibilities better so we can attract those women who support football to come and be part of it and to showcase that football is for everyone, for kids, women, men and it brings everybody together.

"We are going to use our influence to make sure that diversity is brought on to Kotoko," Dentaa concluded.

She is expected to team up with the Commercial Manager of the Eric Amoako-Twum to put Kotoko on the global map.
