Naomi Donkor, the wife of the late Captain Frank Amoaning Donkor, has broken her silence following the tragic aircraft crash in Tema, sharing a deeply emotional tribute to her husband.
In a video posted on TikTok, Naomi offered a glimpse into the cherished moments they shared during their short-lived marriage, which began just three months ago on December 13, 2025.
The video captures scenes of the couple’s life together—posing beside a helicopter, enjoying time at the beach, signing their marriage register, and celebrating joyfully on their wedding day.
The montage has since stirred strong emotions online, with many sympathising with her loss.
Accompanying the video was a heartfelt message in which she described her late husband as her hero and expressed enduring love despite the pain of his passing.
“Asem ato me. Rest well, my hero. I will love you forever,” she wrote.
Captain Frank Amoaning Donkor was among two people who lost their lives in the March 16, 2026, crash involving a light aircraft at Tema Community 1.
His death, alongside that of his brother, has left family, friends and the wider community grieving.
Naomi’s tribute has resonated widely, highlighting the personal toll of the tragedy and the profound loss experienced by those closest to the victims.
