The National Peace Council has entreated the various presidential candidates to conduct their activities in a peaceful manner before, during and after the December 7 polls.

Council Chairman, Most Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante said acts aimed at rigging the election to favour one candidate over the other must be done away with in order to safeguard the credibility of the elections.

“Don’t try to rig or use your power to hire people to create the impression that you have won the election,” he advised.

Rev. Asante made these comment as a guest on the 'Personality Profile' segment of Joy FM’s Drive Time programme Thursday.
