Black Stars new boy Yaw Yeboah has confessed that his recent call up into the Black Stars has strengthened him transforming him into a better player than he was earlier.

The FC Twente loanee was handed his first call up into the Ghana senior national football team during the last group game of the 2017 Afcon qualifier with Rwanda following an injury suffered by Jeffery Schlupp.

Yeboah was invited as a backup for the Leicester City winger and the 19 year old insists he is a better player now.

"I can personally see that my performance has increased. I am a better player now than before. My inclusion into the team has boosted my confidence and I am really happy," Yaw Yeboah told Ghanasoccernet.com

The former Right to Dream Academy winger added that despite the fact he did not play for the team in the game with Rwanda and Russia, his level has improved drastically.

"My level has improved drastically and I think it is because I went to the Black Stars camp. I went with the team to Russia and despite the fact that I did not play, I learnt a lot from the other players," he added.
