NEW DELHI: As always Apple will launch the next generation iPhones in the second half of the year. However, the leaks and rumors around the device has already started doing rounds of the internet. Now a new report has surfaced online suggesting that this year Apple will be including a long-awaited feature in
iPhone 11.

As reported by Japanese blog Macotakara, the iPhone 11 this year will come with reverse charging feature which can be used to charge other Apple devices like AirPods, Apple watch and others. The similar kind of feature was introduced for the first time by Huawei in its Mate 20 series and this year the same feature also came to Samsung's Galaxy S series of smartphones.

After the inclusion of reverse wireless charging, the Apple users will be able to charge other Apple devices via their iPhone. Along with this, it is also expected that the company might also improve the battery capacity of the devices in order to accomodate this feature. The report further mention that the company might also include an 18W fast charger in the box this time replacing the 5W USB A adapter.

However, it is interesting to note that Apple will not switch the lightning port with USB Type C this year. The company recently launched new iPads with the same lightning port so it is expected that the company will retain the same in the new iPhones as well.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to host its first event of the year 2019. The company has scheduled an event for today (March 25) in California, where it is expected to unveil its much-awaited subscription-based services. The new service is said to compete against Amazon Prime and Netflix.
