African giants Zamalek SC have entered talks with out of favour Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom to rescue him from his misery at Red Star Belgrade.

Boakye Yiadom who joined Red Star Belgrade from Chinese side Jiangsu Suning in 2018 has become surplus to requirements at the Serbian club.

The Ghanaian who signed a two year deal with Red Star Belgrade in 2018 has some few months left on his contract as it expires in December this year.

He has scored 58 goals in 94 appearances with 13 assists for Red Star since his first spell in July 2017.

Zamalek have launched a $2 million bid to snatch the Ghanaian striker from the Red Star Belgrade bench.

Boakye Yiadom has been capped 13 times by Ghana having scored five goals in the process.

The 27 year old has played for a more than a dozen clubs having played for the likes of Juventus, Genoa, Elche,Atlanta, Roda JC Kakrade among others.
