In a heartfelt video shared by Medeama SC, the Kumasi-born midfielder traced his journey from Kotoko Babies to Koforidua Suhyen, Okwahu, and finally Medeama SC, where his performances earned national recognition.
“I thank Ghanaians for this call-up and I promise to deliver. I will not disappoint Ghanaians,” Owusu declared.
Owusu joins a midfield group led by Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus, offering energy, creativity, and attacking drive in central areas. His inclusion reflects Otto Addo’s continued commitment to integrating local talent into the national setup.
