Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu has celebrated his first piece of silverware in Brazil after helping Grêmio lift the Campeonato Gaúcho title.
The 26-year-old played a key role in the final against rivals Sport Club Internacional, featuring in both legs of the two-legged showdown.
Amuzu made a major impact in the first leg, scoring in Grêmio’s emphatic 3–0 victory, which put the team firmly in control of the tie.
The second leg ended in a 1–1 draw on Sunday night, allowing Grêmio to seal the championship with a 4–1 aggregate win over Internacional.
The triumph marks Amuzu’s first trophy since moving to Brazil and represents a memorable milestone for the Ghanaian winger, whose goal in the opening leg proved decisive in the title race.
