Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu led Northampton Town to a resounding 3-0 victory over Jojo Wollacott's Crawley Town in English League One action on Saturday.

Fosu opened the scoring in the 16th minute at Sixfields Stadium and was awarded Man of the Match honors for his standout performance, despite being subbed off in the 65th minute.

Northampton’s advantage was doubled in the 30th minute following a Jay Williams own goal, and Mitch Pinnock sealed the win with a goal early in the second half.

Fosu joined Northampton in the summer transfer window after a year without a club, following his departure from Brentford.

So far, he has made a significant impact, recording two goals and two assists in ten appearances this season.

The England-born forward, who debuted for Ghana’s Black Stars in October 2020, has earned four caps for his national team.
