Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened talks with AFC Bournemouth over the signing of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo, as the North London club explores forward reinforcements ahead of the 2025/26 season.

With uncertainty surrounding the future of Heung-min Son, who has been linked with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, Spurs are evaluating possible successors — and Semenyo has emerged as a top target.

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth have slapped a £70 million price tag on the 25-year-old in an effort to fend off interest. However, there’s growing concern within the Cherries camp about the possibility of losing one of their standout performers.

Semenyo had a breakout 2024/25 Premier League season, netting 11 goals and providing five assists, helping Bournemouth to a surprise top-half finish under manager Andoni Iraola.

Despite signing Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth earlier this summer in a club-record £65 million deal, Spurs may need to go even higher to secure Semenyo’s signature, potentially surpassing that fee.

Bournemouth are believed to be drawing up a shortlist of replacements, anticipating an offer that could tempt them into cashing in.

Should the move materialize, Semenyo would become the latest Ghanaian to join a Premier League heavyweight — and his arrival would add pace, physicality, and directness to Ange Postecoglou’s evolving Tottenham attack.
