7th March 2019
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have reacted to the desicion of Joachim Löw to dismiss Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller from the German national team.
Thr management of the Bavarians criticized the timing and manner in which Low decided to communicate his decisions.
"We do not comment on sporting decisions but the time and manner in which this step has been communicated seem questionable to us," says a statement signed by the President of the Board of Directors, Karlheinz Rummenigge , and sports director Hasan Salihamidzic .
"The last match of the national team was on November 19, 2018. The fact that the players and the public are informed three and a half months later and immediately before the key matches for Bayern in the fight for the Bundesliga title on Saturday against Wolfsburg and next Wednesday in the Champions League against Liverpool is something that irritates us, "the document added.
