Bechem United chairman Kingsley Osei Bonsu has thrown his weight of support behind former Ghana Football Association’s Vice President George Afriyie to be the next leader to steer affairs of football in the country.
Several football administrators have expressed their desire to occupy the seat, however, the veteran football administrator has endorsed George Afriyie as the right man for the job.
“Every person who has come out or aspiring to lead the GFA is qualified but I Kingsley Osei Bonsu believe that George Kwasi Afriyie is more qualified than the rest because I know him and he is tried and tested” he told New Mercury FM.
He stressed on how instrumental George Afriyie has been to the GFA, and his contribution to the GFA.
“I was with him on the exco and he distinguished himself well. He always want the work he is assigned to be executed with perfection”. He added.
