Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah played a crucial role in Al Riyadh's 2-1 victory against Al Qadasiya in the Saudi Pro League on Friday evening, showcasing an impressive performance that highlighted his versatility in both attack and defense.

The match kicked off with Lucas Kal scoring the opener for Al Riyadh in the 24th minute, thanks to an assist from Tozé.

Ibrahim Bayesh extended the lead with a powerful header from a Yoann Barbet cross in the 59th minute.

Although Al Qadasiya managed to pull one back through Abdulaziz Al Othman in the 79th minute, Al Riyadh's defense held strong to secure the three points.

Mensah, who played 87 minutes, was instrumental in controlling the midfield.

He registered three shots and completed 16 out of 20 passes, achieving an impressive 80% accuracy.

His contributions included creating one goal-scoring opportunity and demonstrating defensive prowess with seven recoveries, two clearances, and winning ten duels.

Additionally, he completed five out of eight dribbles and was fouled twice, underscoring his impactful presence on the pitch.
