Wilfred Dormon, assistant coach of Dreams FC, has highlighted the club's decision to sell key players as a significant reason behind their difficulties in the current Ghana Premier League season.

The team has struggled to secure a victory, with four draws and three defeats leaving them languishing in 17th place on the league table, having amassed just four points after seven matches.

Dormon expressed concern over the impact of the player exodus, particularly with the departures of notable names such as John Antwi, Sylvester Simba, Agyenim Boateng Mensah, Abdul Jalilu, Abdul Aziz Issah, and Godfred Kingsley Atuahene, all of whom were sold under head coach Karim Zito.

“It takes two to three years to build a winning team,” Dormon stated. “Basically, the entire starting eleven have moved on to continue their careers, and that is why we are struggling.”

As they prepare to face Young Apostles in Wenchi on Sunday, October 27, the pressure is on Dreams FC to turn their fortunes around and secure their first win of the season.
