Ghanaian youngster Edmund Baidoo played a pivotal role in Salzburg U-19's emphatic 5-1 win against Brest U-19 during the UEFA Youth League Champions League Path Round 2.

From the outset, the home side demonstrated their dominance, with Baidoo instrumental in creating two early goals for teammate Phillip Verhounig.

Verhounig opened the scoring in the 21st minute and quickly added a second just three minutes later, both set up by Baidoo's clever assists.

Salzburg continued to control the match, narrowly missing opportunities to increase their lead before halftime. Just after the break, Zeteny Jano seized on a handball to successfully convert a penalty, extending the lead to 3-0.

Baidoo finally got his name on the scoresheet in the 64th minute, heading in a well-placed corner from Sulzbacher to make it 4-0.

Julian Hussauf added to the tally with a spectacular long-range strike in the 76th minute, further solidifying Salzburg's advantage. Brest managed to find a consolation goal through Geraux, who converted a penalty after a foul by Hussauf.

The Young Bulls' relentless attack showcased their quality throughout the match, with Baidoo's impressive performance being a standout highlight in their commanding victory.
