Former Ghana youth star, Eric Ayiah joins Portuguese outfit, FC Felgueiras

Ghanaian forward Eric Ayiah has sealed a sensational move to Portuguese second-tier club FC Felgueiras.
The 24-year-old striker, who captained Ghana’s U17 national team at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup, joins from Liga 3 side CD Trofense, where he enjoyed a solid campaign last season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 18 matches.
Ayiah, a former AS Monaco U19 prospect, has been steadily carving out his career in Portugal since leaving the French giants. His switch to Felgueiras’ Dr. Machado Matos Stadium is expected to bolster the team’s attacking options as they aim to solidify their league status.
The Portuguese outfit welcomed their new signing warmly on social media, posting:
“Now you are one of us. Welcome to your new home, Eric!”
With his pace, technical ability, and goal-scoring instincts, Ayiah is tipped to play a key role for Felgueiras this season, while the move also gives him a fresh platform to reignite his international ambitions with the Black Stars.
