FC Samartex clinched a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Vision FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday. Michael Ephson emerged as the hero with a stoppage-time goal that sealed the win for the Timber giants.
Vision FC's Edward Agyemang inadvertently gave Samartex the lead with an own goal, but later redeemed himself by equalizing.
However, Ephson's 92nd-minute strike ensured the hosts secured maximum points.

Bechem United picked up their first win of the season, defeating Dreams FC 1-0 courtesy of an own goal by Christian Owusu in the 32nd minute.
The unfortunate mistake handed Bechem United the victory at the Nana Gyeabour Park, securing an important three points.
Young Apostles FC 3-2 Aduana FC
Young Apostles FC came from behind to claim a thrilling 3-2 victory over Aduana FC at the Wenchi Sports Stadium. Mohammed Muftawu gave the home side an early lead before Emmanuel Marfo scored twice for Aduana FC.
However, Rahman Rulf Abdul's second-half brace turned the game around, giving Young Apostles their first Premier League win of the season.
Heart of Lions 0-0 GoldStars FC
Heart of Lions and GoldStars FC played to a 0-0 stalemate at the Kpando Stadium. Both sides had difficulty breaking each other down, with Heart of Lions unable to capitalize on home advantage.
The draw leaves both teams with a point in a tightly contested match.
