Ghana's U15 Girls team clinched the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Benin in the final on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The decisive match took place at Niger's FeniFoot Technical Centre in Niamey, showcasing the exceptional talent of young learners from across the region.
Daniela Abass scored the only goal in the second half, sealing the win for Ghana in an entertaining and competitive final.
The triumph marked Ghana's dominance in the tournament, overcoming strong challenges from teams including Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Burkina Faso to claim the prestigious title.
The tournament provided an invaluable platform for young players to display their skills and gain international exposure.
In addition to the on-field action, WAFU B emphasized safeguarding protocols, reflecting its commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
