The former Medeama SC skipper Kwasi Donsu has revealed in an exclusive interview with Nationalist TV, the best midfield partnership he enjoyed during his stint in the Ghanaian topflight.
The free-kick expert who had a decade spell with the Tarkwa-based outfit having had the opportunity to play with some of the best midfielders in the Ghanaian topflight opened up on his partnership with them during Medeama Sporting Club era.
Playing alongside Malik Akowuah and Eric Kawkaw for over four season's, moved to having the new generational midfield talents like Samuel Boadu 'Agadas' and Justice Blay along the line.
Justice Blay over the past four season's, is considered one of the best defensive midfielders in the Ghana Premier league.
Nonetheless, Kwasi Donsu insist and has revealed that despite having good seasons with Blay and Boadu, at Medeama SC he considers Malik Akowuah and Eric Kawkaw as best midfield partnership during his career with the mauves and yellow lads.
"Justice Blay came to Medeama SC twice on trials before getting a deal. I played with a lot of midfielders especially in Medeama but during that period I had Eric Kawkaw, Kwame Boahene and Malik Akowuah as partners before Blay sealed through the team with Samuel Boadu"
"But honestly, Blay and Boadu midfield alongside me was strong however my partnership with Malik Akowuah, Boahene and Kawkaw at Medeama SC was the best of all time"
"This was the best I met in Medeama Sporting Club", Donsu told Nationalist TV.
