The 2018 BET Awards nominations were announced last night and no Ghanaian artiste was able to make the final cut.

Nigerian superstars Davido and Tiwa Savage have however been nominated in the Best International Act category which also has Ghanaian born UK grime and hip-hop artiste, Stormy who will compete for the category which is a merger of African and UK artistes.

The list came as a surprise to many Ghanaian music lovers as many expected to see the name of some top artistes who have performed well in the year under review.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 25, 2018 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, United States.
Also on the list is DJ Khaled, nominated for Album of the Year for Grateful and Video of the Year for Wild Thoughts which featured Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. Other top nominees include Migos and SZA, both of whom were nominated for four awards.
