The Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has incurred the wrath of political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, widely known as A Plus, over what the latter says is 'hypocritical' on the part of the former.

In a post on his Facebook page, A Plus said, the Ofoase-Ayirebi MP in 2008, fearing for his life, run to the host of Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana show, Randy Abbey, and asked for protection from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, since some members within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the then opposition party, were threatening his life.

According to A Plus, Randy Abbey discussed the issue with the then Vice President, John Dramani Mahama who provided him [Oppong Nkrumah] with two military men, one for himself and the other for his wife.

A Plus, however, finds it hypocritical that the former Joy FM's Super Morning Show host, has finally landed himself a ministerial job in the same party he reported as terrifying his life a few years back.

"In 2008, after an IEA debate, you went to Randy Abbey to cry that NPP people were threatening your life so you needed protection. Randy spoke with John Mahama and he gave you two military men; one to protect you and the other to protect your wife. Today you are a minister in the same NPP government you went to report to Randy. Ungrateful hypocrite!!!", he subtly jabbed in portions of his write-up sighted by Ghana Guardian.

Kwame said he [Kojo] and former MUSIGA President, Obour are today acting to be all NPP when in the actual sense, they were nowhere to be found when the likes of now National Organizer, Sammi Awuku and the late Forestry Commission boss, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John, toiled for the presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

To A Plus, Oppong Nkrumah lacks presidential qualities. He said he is only trying to outsmart the Ghanaian people.

"Where were you when Sammy Awuku and Sir John were dragged before the supreme court? Where were you when we were at Obra Spot fighting for Nana Addo? You and Obour are today acting all NPP. The way you two dey bore me errrrh!!! Presidential material my foot. You think you are smart", he said.

A Plus, however, advised Mr. Nkrumah to go to Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, MP for Awutu Senya East and Minister of Special Development Initiatives and learn home sense as according to him, he [Kojo] cannot fight him and win.

"Bro, I heard everything you said on radio. Go to Hon. Hawa Koomson and learn home sense. Don't fight me. You won't win. You'll come out with serious wounds. I can be a f*ckn monster bro!!!, he stated.
