Executive Council member, Nana Oduro Sarfo has rendered an unqualified apology for comments he made about the allowance of the Executive Council.

The EXCO member made certain comments on Asempa FM where he claimed that the amount of money used in feeding his dogs a day is more than the GHC4,000 EXCO monthly allowance which people are making noise about.

His comments has generated a lot of disaffection for him with veteran football administrator Kofi Manu Blue Boy branding him as disrespectful.

The EXCO member has apologized for the comments he made on Asempa FM, in an interview with Kumasi based Pure FM.

"Let me take the opportunity on this medium to express my sincere apology to the entire nation who left angered by the comments I made on Asempa FM."

"I am deeply sorry and apologize to those who were offended by my actions" he added.

Last Tuesday members of congress approved a mammoth increment to the allowances and emoluments of the executive council.

The move has resulted in a lot of consternation from among the football fraternity as most people are aghast at the increment.

With the outlandish increment it means for the past ten months the GFA owes its president GHC 120,000 whiles the vice president is owed GHC70,000 for the past ten months with other members of the EXCO each owed GHC40,000 as arrears.
