I've always dreamed of playing in Germany - Patrick Twumasi

New Hannover 96 striker, Patrick Twumasi is delighted to have completed his move to the German side.

The striker joined the second tier German side from Spanish La Liga Deportivo Alaves.

He has penned a three year contract and says he always harboured dreams of playing his football in Germany.

Hannover 96 announced the striker signing on their official website.

“The next signing is perfect: The Ghanaian Patrick Twumasi is moving from the Spanish LaLiga club Deportivo Alaves to Hannover 96. The 26-year-old attacking player signed a contract until 2023 today”, the club announced.

In his first interview since signing for the club Twumasi revealed its a dream come true to play in Germany.

“I'm really happy to be here. I've always dreamed of playing in Germany and I'm happy to be part of Hannover 96 now”, Patrick Twumasi said as quoted on the website of the German club.

Twumasi spent last season on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Gaziantep.

Whiles on loan in Turkey he scored six goals while providing five assists in 26 league games.

He has been capped twice by the Black Stars and is yet to score a goal.
