Kwadwo Asamoah shines in Inter’s draw against Barcelona
7th November 2018
Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah was impressive for Inter Milan as they held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
The versatile Black Stars midfielder who was deployed at left-back lasted the entire duration of the match.
Malcom looked to have won the game in the final 10 minutes. The Brazilian, on as a substitute, gave Barca a deserved lead after being set up by Philipe Coutinho.
However, there was a late twist as Mauro Icardi, who played for Barca as a youngster, scored from close range in the 87th minute to earn Inter a point.
It's a point which sends Barça into the next round -- although they have work to do to clinch top spot -- while Inter will battle it out with Tottenham to join them there.
