Ghanaian forward Jonathan Sowah continued his fine form for Simba SC after netting in their 4-3 pre-season defeat to Egyptian side ENPPI Sporting Club on Sunday.

The 26-year-old striker played the opening 45 minutes and registered his second goal in as many games for the Tanzanian giants.

Sowah, who joined Simba from Singida Black Stars this summer, had earlier opened his account in their 2-0 victory over Carabat last week.

The prolific forward earned his move to Simba after a sensational stint with Singida, where he scored 13 goals in 13 league appearances following his arrival from Libyan outfit Al Nasr midway through last season.

Simba are currently in Egypt as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of a demanding 2025/26 campaign, which will see them compete in the CAF Champions League, the Mainland Premier League, and domestic competitions such as the Federation Cup and Community Shield.

Head coach Fadlu Davids is expected to use the tour to fine-tune his squad and integrate new signings like Sowah, who has already shown glimpses of his attacking prowess.
