It remains a mystery what might have led to the sacking of the Director of Political Affairs at the Presidency [Jubilee House], Manaf Ibrahim.

But in a letter cited by ghanaguardian.com, Manaf has been releived of his duties as the director of Political Affairs at the Presidency

Manaf Ibrahim until his dismissal was a staff at the office of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

A letter signed by Augustine Blay, Secretary to the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on September 30, 2019, reads: "I have been directed to inform you that your appointment as Director of Political Affairs at the Vice President’s Secretariat has been terminated effective 30th September 2019."

"Notwithstanding the termination, you are still under the obligation of confidentiality that you sign. During your employment. Please arrange for the return of all official equipment, property, and documents in your possession. I will like to thank you for your service during your period of employment," it added.
Manaf Ibrahim last Saturday secured an injunction on the Asawase NPP parliamentary elections restraining the party from declaring any one as their candidate.

It is believed the young man was given the option of chasing his parliamentary ambition or dropping his suit so as to remain at the seat of government but Manaf Ibrahim chose the former hence his ousting from the Presidency.
