Medeama Prez calls for calm amidst recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League
13th November 2024
Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker has expressed concern over his team’s disappointing performance in the Ghana Premier League but has urged fans to remain patient as the club works to turn things around.
The Yellow and Mauve have struggled in their last three league games, managing just one draw and two defeats.
Medeama played out a 2-2 draw with Aduana Stars before suffering a 2-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak at the TnA Stadium, followed by a narrow loss to Dreams FC last Sunday.
The team’s recent form has sparked frustration among supporters, but Parker has called on the fans to stay calm and trust in the club’s efforts to resolve the issues.
“I understand the frustrations of our supporters – they are deeply invested in Medeama SC, and their loyalty means everything to us,” Parker said.
“I want to assure them that we are doing everything within our power to address the situation and get the team back to winning ways.”
He continued, “Our management team and technical staff are working around the clock to resolve the issues we’ve faced in recent matches.
We believe in our players and in the direction we are heading. Together, we can overcome this moment and make our supporters proud.”
Parker also emphasized the importance of unity, urging the Medeama family to stay strong during this challenging period.
"Now more than ever, we need to feel the strength of our Medeama family. Let’s stay united and keep believing in our vision. We are confident that brighter days are ahead for this great club."
Medeama will face log leaders Bibiani Goldstars in matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League this Sunday, hoping to get back on track.
