Medeama SC continued their flawless start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Basake Holy Stars at the CAM Park on Sunday.

Striker Diawise Taylor, returning to familiar territory, emerged as the match-winner for Medeama with a stunning goal, securing all three points for the visitors.

The Mauve and Yellow took the lead in the 57th minute when in-form defender Kamaradini Mamudu found the back of the net.

However, their advantage was short-lived as Basake Holy Stars' Issah Yakubu equalized just three minutes later, leveling the score.

Medeama quickly responded, and it was Taylor who stepped up to deliver a memorable strike in the 64th minute, sealing the win and preserving Medeama’s perfect start to the season.

With this victory, Medeama SC now sits atop the league table with nine points from their first three games.
