Mohammed Fuseini scores in Royale Union SG's defeat to Cercle Brugge

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini found the net for Royale Union SG in their 3-1 loss to Cercle Brugge during Round 12 of the Belgian top-flight league on Sunday.

Fuseini got Union SG off to a strong start by scoring in the eighth minute, giving his team an early lead that they maintained through halftime.

However, the second half saw a dramatic turnaround as Cercle Brugge responded with two quick goals.

Felipe Augusto equalized in the 52nd minute, followed just three minutes later by Emmanuel Kakou, who scored to put Cercle Brugge ahead.

In addition to Fuseini, Ghanaian players Francis Abu and Lawrence Agyekum featured prominently for Cercle Brugge, contributing to their comeback victory.

Despite the loss, Fuseini has been a bright spot for Royale Union SG this season, now tallying four goals in 12 appearances.

The defeat leaves Royale Union SG in 10th place on the league table, with 15 points after 12 matches.
