Mohammed Kudus' breathtaking overhead kick against Manchester City on the final day of the 2023/24 English Premier League season failed to secure a spot among the top 10 goals vying for the Goal of the Season award.

Despite Manchester City securing a two-goal lead early on through Phil Foden's brace, Kudus injected hope into the game for the Hammers with his sensational strike, narrowing the deficit just before halftime.

Although Manchester City eventually reclaimed their lead and clinched the title with a 3-1 victory, Kudus's remarkable goal captured attention across the league.

Regrettably, the West Ham star's goal did not make the cut for the top 10 nominations. Alongside his memorable strike against Manchester City, Kudus had also netted a brilliant overhead goal against Brentford earlier in the season.

Despite this disappointment, the 23-year-old has left an indelible mark in his debut season for West Ham United, tallying an impressive eight league goals and six assists.

The nominations for the Goal of the Season award include:

- Kaoru Mitoma's goal against Wolves
- Bruno Fernandes' strike against Burnley
- Saman Ghoddos' goal against Burnley
- Alejandro Garnacho's goal against Everton
- Alexis Mac Allister's goal against Fulham
- Oscar Bobb's goal against Newcastle
- Kobbie Mainoo's goal against Wolves
- Marcus Rashford's goal against Manchester City
- Cole Palmer's goal against Everton
- Moises Caicedo's goal against Bournemouth
