Opambour blasts Yaw Sarpong's 'wife' for fighting over Bawumia's GHc100,000 donated cash

The leader of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, known as Opambour, has criticized Adwoa Penamang, who claims to be Yaw Sarpong's wife, for her public actions regarding the allocation of funds donated to her husband.
He emphasized that the donations received by Yaw Sarpong were specifically intended to cover the medical expenses of the ailing musician, not for other purposes.
The clergyman criticized Penamang's suggestion that a portion of the GH¢100,000 funds, contributed by NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, should be directed towards completing a house while her husband is fighting for his life, stating that such a notion is inappropriate.
Opambour also condemned Penamang's decision to discuss the matter on a radio station, asserting that her actions have brought shame to the sick musician.
"She [Penamang] should realize that the donated money was not for building a house or family needs, but to manage his medical costs, nourishment, and other necessities. As his spouse, she could have even sought a loan for her husband's care.
"Taking it to the radio was unnecessary; patience is key. Publicly shaming someone is fruitless. Many personal matters are kept private for good reason. We must be cautious about embarrassing others; the future is unpredictable," he expressed in Twi on Prophet 1 TV.
It will be recalled that Dr. Bawumia contributed an amount of GH¢100,000 to assist Yaw Sarpong during his health struggles.
In an interview with Auntie Naa on Oyerepa FM, Adwoa Penamang disclosed how the family has mistreated and neglected her since Yaw Sarpong fell ill.
Penamang mentioned that she had suggested using part of the family’s money to complete the musician's housing project, but her advice was disregarded. She also stated that she has been Yaw Sarpong’s wife for forty years, although the family and the musician claim she is no longer his spouse.
Yaw Sarpong has been suffering from a stroke, but there are hopes that he will fully recover and continue his ministry.
