PHOTOS: Ghanaian president-elect Mahama pays courtesy call on Tinubu

John Mahama, Ghana's president-elect, paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
This was revealed in a post on X on Tuesday by Dada Olusegun, Tinubu's Special Assistant.
“The President-Elect of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama paid a courtesy visit to President Tinubu at his residence, Presidential Villa, State House Yesterday,” he wrote.
This visit follows Tinubu's congratulatory remarks on Mahama's victory in Ghana's general election on December 7.
During a phone call to congratulate Mahama, Tinubu was hopeful that Mahama's return to leadership will strengthen stability within the Economic Community of West African States.
He added that he was excited to collaborate with Mahama's upcoming government to improve bilateral relations in a number of areas and create a more promising future for West Africa.
