An all-female religious-based group, Glorious Ladies, has marked its one year with a dinner in Accra.

The interdenominational group was established in 2016 musician and television personality Akosua Agyapong with aim of promoting  spiritual growth, good moral standards, good social lives and mould young ladies for marriage.

It has now grown with 70 members, according to leadership of the group

The theme for the one year anniversary was  “Inspiring Single Ladies for Positive Generational  Impact”.

The dinner, which was attended by a number of high profile personalities gave awards to individuals who have contributed to the success story of the Glorious Ladies in diverse ways.

A number of resource persons who over the years gave spirit-boosting talks to members of the group were recognized for impacting useful knowledge into these young ladies, preparing for marriage journey and life in general.

A fashion designer and beautician Miss Anobiancy  Shownel carried the day for  her immense  support to the club and was honoured with a touching Citation for her great work.

Special  prayers was said by Pastor Jonathan Hansel to thank God for their lives.

The joyous ladies  climaxed their celebrations with a thanksgiving service at the English Assembly of the Adwen-Bu District of the Church of Pentecost, and asked God for his continuous favour.

The vision of Glorious Ladies is to seek a world of hope and prosperity, where spirit-filled ladies are groomed to be self-sustaining and good agents of societal change, and of which positive values are evident in their lives.

This spells out the club’s mission: “We exist to unearth the hidden talents in young ladies and to instill in them the confidence, selflessness  and entrepreneurial values that they will need to be successful in life.
