Photos: KABA’s final journey on earth starts; colleagues pause to bid farewell

Funeral service is being held for the late Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA), at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
The remains of the late talented staff of the Multimedia Group Limited would be laid to rest at the Osu cemetery immediately after the service.
The casket containing the mortal remains of former host of political talk show “Ekosii Sen” on Asempa 94.7 FM, was opened early Saturday for public viewing.
Family, friends, colleagues and loved ones have been taking turns to file past the body to pay their final respect to the departed.
On Friday, the hearse transporting the mortal remains of KABA made a brief stop at the premises of Joy FM between 5:30-6:00pm for team members paid their last respects.
Prior to that, the remains made the first stop at his residence at Abeka-Accra for viewing by the widow and family members.
KABA as the former host of political talk show “Ekosii Sen” on Asempa 94.7 FM was known to his audience, died in the early hours of November 18, 2017, after a short illness. He was 37 years.
KABA, a trained teacher, joined the Multimedia Group in 2009 as a Broadcast Journalist and later became the host of the most listened to afternoon talk show on radio, Ekosii Sen which airs between 3-6pm weekdays.
He left behind a wife, Valentina and an Eight-month-old daughter, Nana Yaa as well as his parents- Madam Felicia Asabea Ampenyin (Mother) and Mr. Thomas Ampenyin (Step-father).
