Prince Osei-Owusu opens MLS account as Montreal CF beat New York Red Bulls

Ghana international Prince Osei-Owusu scored his first goal of the 2026 Major League Soccer season to help CF Montréal claim an impressive 3–0 victory over New York Red Bulls.
The striker opened the scoring in the eighth minute after calmly converting a penalty to give the visitors an early advantage in the match played in New York.
Montreal built on that early lead with a dominant display, eventually sealing a comfortable win away from home.
The match also featured two of Osei-Owusu’s Ghanaian compatriots, Sofo Mohammed and Ronald Donkor, who were on the opposing side for the Red Bulls.
