One-touch passes are vital

England were brilliant in that opening 20 minutes against Tunisia and a key reason for that was the quality of their one-touch passing.

The national team have improved enormously in this area and you can really see the quality of coaching the players receive at club level.

Premier League football is so quick now and the likes of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, and Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur all place a real emphasis on swift passing. This allows their teams to break up the pitch at top speed.
