Kuala Lumpur: Saudi Arabia, seeking to win the AFC Asian Cup title for a fourth time, have named their final squad for the Continental showpiece to be held in the United Arab Emirates.

Saudi Arabia's last of three titles was won when the UAE hosted the 1996 edition and Juan Antonio Pizzi's squad are aiming to repeat history.

Drawn in Group E, Saudi Arabia will open their campaign DPR Korea on January 8 before playing Lebanon on January 12 and Qatar five days later.

Saudi Arabia will be looking to continue their 2018 FIFA World Cup form where they rebounded from losing their opening match 5-0 to Russia to narrowly lose 1-0 to Uruguay and then defeat Egypt 2-1.

Since the FIFA World Cup, Saudi Arabia have played five friendlies, defeating Yemen 1-0 and settling for draws with Bolivia (2-2), Iraq (1-1) and Jordan (1-1). They lost 2-0 to Brazil.
