Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah announce the signing of Ghanaian sensation Christopher Baah-Bonsu

Saudi Pro League side, Al Qadsiah have snapped up Ghanaian international Christopher Bonsu-Baah from Belgium Pro League side KRC Genk.

The Saudi outfit on Monday, July 7 2025, have announced the signing of Ghanaian sensation, Christopher Baah-Bonsu in a €15M deal from KRC Genk, penning a 5-year contract with the Saudi Pro League side.

The 20-year-old winger will be officially unveiled to his new team and fans on Wednesday, July 9 as per club’s statement.

The former Accra Shooting Stars talisman will have a program that sees his return to European football imminent given the trajectory of his career development and his age.

The 20 year old mercurial attacker began his professional football journey with Norwegian top flight side Sarpsborg where he joined from Shooting Stars Accra before moving to KRC Genk after just 12 games with the Norwegian outfit.

During his stint with KRC Genk in the Belgian top flight, Bonsu-Baah made a whopping 90 appearances for the Belgian side, scoring five times and providing seven assists across two seasons.

Christopher will be teammates with compatriot Jerry Afriyie who was also snapped up by the Saudi outfit in January 2025 and was subsequently loaned out the Spanish Primera Federacion side CD Lugo where he bagged 4 goals and 2 assists in 10 games.

Bonsu Baah made his Black Stars debut in the 2025 Unity Cup in London where he starred against the likes of Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago, having had his initial call up in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers doubleheader against Chad and Madagascar where he could not feature.
