Video and Pictures: Ballot boxes vandalised, collation process distorted in Tamale Central

Angry youth Thursday dawn crushed two ballot box in the Tamale Central constituency in the Northern Region.

Eyewitnesses told GHOne news unidentified ‘macho men’ attacked a motorbike dispatch rider who was delivering the two boxes at the premises of the Regional House of chiefs where the collation was supposed to have been done.

According to an eyewitness, the ballot papers found in the box that was snatched and destroyed has were already thumb-printed with most votes on the papers picked randomly heading in the NDC’s favour.
