Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side is fully prepared to battle for all three points in their Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United.
Speaking ahead of the Week 28 fixture, Tanko acknowledged the challenge posed by Bechem United but expressed confidence in his team’s readiness following a productive week of training.
“We are going there to really fight for the points,” he said. “We have to defend as a unit. I don’t have a problem when we have the ball, but without the ball, we have to really defend as a unit and try to close the gaps.”
The Medeama coach stressed that defensive discipline will be key to securing a positive result away from home, insisting his players have been drilled to cope with different match situations.
“We have to be able to stop them. I think we are ready for that. Looking at the training we did this weekend, we have prepared for every situation,” he told Medi TV.
The Yellow and Mauves will be aiming to return to Tarkwa with maximum points as they seek to strengthen their position in the league standings.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday, 4 April, with kick-off set for 15:00 GMT.
