Ghanaguardian.com can confirm that head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Yaw Acheampong has resigned from his position with immediate effect.

This comes after the club latest drawn game against West African Football Academy on Sunday leaving the club deep in the relegation mire.

Yaw Acheampong joined the club at the start of the 2021/2022 season when then Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu left for Medeama.

But things have not gone as planned as he has struggled to achieve results with the club languishing second bottom of the table.

Since taking the job the former AshGold, Elmina Sharks gaffer has failed to turn around the fortunes of the Techiman based side who were nearly relegated last season.

Yaw Acheampong as coach of Eleven Wonders has won four matches out of a possible 16, drawing four matches whiles losing eight matches leaving the team 17 on the league log.

The Techiman based will play Aduana Stars at the Dormaa Park in their last game of the first round but will have to do so without Yaw Acheampong.
