Yussif Basigi sets title ambitions with Simba Queens after official unveiling

Yussif Basigi, former head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, has been officially introduced as the new head coach of Tanzanian women's club, Simba Queens.

Basigi, known for his wealth of experience, has revealed that his primary objective is to secure the Tanzania Women’s League title with his new team.

In an interview with GHOne Sports, Coach Basigi shared the specific target assigned to him by the club’s management.

"My target is to win the [Tanzanian Women’s] league with Simba Queens before thinking about the African Champions League," he said.

Basigi also highlighted the differences between his former club, Hasaacas Ladies, and Simba Queens, noting the significant advantage Simba Queens has in terms of facilities.

“At Hasaacas, I had to improvise, but Simba Queens have almost everything in terms of facilities, so I will need them to be professional,” he explained.

With his vast coaching experience and reputation, Yussif Basigi is expected to lead Simba Queens to domestic success and potentially beyond.
