Felix Afena-Gyan has opened his league goal account for Amedspor, capping a composed performance with a late strike in their 3–0 away victory over Manisa FK at the Mumin Ozkasap Stadium on Sunday.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward, who joined the Turkish TFF First League side in the summer, was handed another chance to impress — and delivered with a clinical finish in the 89th minute, latching onto an assist from Adama Traore.

 Match Recap

Veteran defender Mehmet Ucar opened the scoring for Amedspor on the 36th minute, guiding home a fine delivery to hand the visitors a deserved lead.

Amedspor kept the lead until the end of the first half, returned again with their dominance in the second half where Malian forward Adama Traore doubled the advantage in the 63rd minute, finishing off an impressive attacking move as Amedspor stamped authority in the game.

Afena-Gyan then put the icing on the cake with a superb strike a minute from time, latching onto an assist from Traore to seal all three points for the visitors.

Afena-Gyan’s goal — his first in the Turkish second tier — comes after a challenging spell at Serie A side Cremonese, and signals a fresh chapter of confidence and form.

The win lifts Amedspor up the table as they continue their promotion push, with Afena-Gyan’s growing influence offering renewed optimism for the campaign.
