Norwegian side Molde FK have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian forward Jalal Abdulai Wolji from Swedish club IF Elfsborg, following an impressive loan spell.

‎The 21-year-old spent the entire 2024/2025 season at Molde, where his performances quickly won over the club’s supporters and technical staff. Wolji scored nine goals across all competitions, playing a key role in the team’s attacking setup.

His consistent displays convinced the Norwegian club to secure his services permanently. Molde have now handed the Ghanaian forward a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.

Club officials believe the young striker has the potential to become a central figure in their long-term plans, especially after showing composure and sharp finishing during his time on loan.

For Wolji, the deal represents another important step in his European career as he continues to develop in Norway’s top flight. The forward will now aim to build on his goal-scoring form and help Molde challenge for domestic honours in the coming seasons.
