Justice Blay, Enock Morrison, and Steven Mukwala of Asante Kotoko have been named in Laryea Kingston's Team of the Week for Matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League, following their impressive performances in the 2-0 victory against arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Justice Blay was pivotal in Kotoko's defense, excelling in a three-back system that secured a clean sheet at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Blay, who has recently returned to form after a three-month hiatus due to a knee injury, showed his defensive prowess and stability.

Enock Morrison, formerly with King Faisal, delivered a standout performance in a deep-lying midfield role.

His near-flawless display in the heart of the pitch was crucial in ensuring Asante Kotoko's dominance and ultimate victory over Hearts of Oak.

Steven Mukwala, the Ugandan striker, was another key player for the Porcupine Warriors, scoring both goals in the match and taking his season tally to 14.

Mukwala's brace highlighted his attacking capabilities and earned him a well-deserved spot in the Team of the Week.

Other notable inclusions in Kingston's selection are Bibiani Gold Stars' Alex Aso, Yussif Chibsah of Aduana FC, Shawkan Mohammed of Accra Lions, and the evergreen Gladson Awako, who played a significant role in Accra Great Olympics' 3-2 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Accra Lions' Andrews Owusu was named Goalkeeper of the Week, while Fatawu Sulemana (Medeama SC), Ebenezer Abban (Heart of Lions), and Rasheed Alhassan also made it to the Team of the Week for Matchday 31.
