Black Sherif pays courtesy call on UG vice-chancellor ahead of Zaama Disco concert 2025

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif popularly known as Blacko, paid a courtesy visit to the University of Ghana to meet the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo.Ahead of his highly anticipated Zaama Disco Concert 2025, scheduled for Sunday, December 21.

During the visit, Black Sherif held discussions with the Vice-Chancellor on potential collaborations with the School of Performing Arts, as well as initiatives aimed at promoting youth development, creative expression and student engagement within the university community.

Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo welcomed the interaction, noting that partnerships with industry leaders such as Black Sherif offer students invaluable exposure and practical experience beyond the classroom. She reaffirmed the University of Ghana’s commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity and talent development among its students.

The Zaama Disco Concert, which will be held at the University of Ghana Stadium, is expected to attract a large audience and further strengthen the bond between the university and Ghana’s vibrant music and creative arts industry.
