Clifford Aboagye joins Libyan club Almoroj SC after departure from Queretaro

Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye has signed with Libyan club Almoroj Sports Club on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Mexican side Queretaro.

Aboagye, celebrated for his outstanding performance at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup where he earned the Bronze Ball, brings significant international experience to his new team.

Aboagye's professional journey began with Inter Allies in Ghana, but he soon made a move to Europe, spending several seasons with Granada in Spain.

There, he primarily played for Granada B in the Segunda División B. In 2017, he transitioned to Mexican football, joining Atlas.

He went on to play for Tijuana and Puebla, showcasing his versatility and adaptability across various leagues.

As he begins this new chapter with Almoroj SC, Aboagye is expected to be a crucial asset for the Libyan club, which is eager to make a mark this season.

His extensive experience, particularly from his time with Ghana's U-20 team, where he played a pivotal role in their third-place finish at the 2013 World Cup, will be instrumental in helping Almoroj SC achieve their goals and elevate their performance on the field.
